Shipping & Returns Shipping Policy Postage and packaging are free to UK customers. Small items from the online store will be dispatched as soon as possible, usually within 2-10 working days after checkout. All our items will be sent Royal Mail Special Delivery, 1st Class and Signed For which is tracked. International shipping prices will vary in accordance with the overall weight and destination. Return & Exchange Policy We hope that all of our customers are happy with the items they have purchased, however, the UK law states that you have a 14-day ‘cooling-off period’ when you buy something you haven’t seen in person (unless it’s bespoke or made to measure /personalised/custom made). We asked that you contact us first if you wish to return an item you have purchased via email at claire@clairegraingerjewellery.com within 14 days or purchase to advise us of your wish to return the item. Provided the goods are unused, in their original packaging and you have proof of postage of when you returned them, we will refund the item in full. You are subject to cover the costs of the postage and packing to return the item for a refund and we will only accept items sent Royal Mail Special Delivery 1st Class and Signed For. A refund will be made once we have confirmed that we have received the package. We cannot be held liable for any package not received where no proof of posting was obtained. The cost and safe return of the goods is the customer's responsibility. All personalised/ made-to-order/ made-to-size products are non-returnable and non-refundable, however, they can be resized at an additional cost. In this case, items must be returned in perfect condition as when they were received (along with proof of posting). All sale items are non-returnable and non-refundable. We reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you our fees and expenses if the product has been worn. I grew up in Rochester, Kent and still live in the area with my husband and my family nearby! My daughter-in-law and granddaughter have the privilege of testing my pieces and modelling for my Instagram posts. You may well spot them! Every piece is a work of art. I craft in precious metals and create fine jewellery. I take my influence from my surroundings, thinking of shape, form, textures and colour sometimes adding gemstones. I have to admit to being more than a bit of a magpie. Anything that sparkles, twinkles. I love sourcing gemstones, travelling to India and Thailand and have some very good contacts with gemstone dealers here in the UK. From my studio based in the Kent countryside, I use recycled silver and gold, semi-precious and precious gemstones to create all kinds of wonderful wearable and fine jewellery. In my store, you will find necklaces, rings, bangles and earrings lovingly made in my workshop but you can also create something unique to you, as I'm also a specialist in jewellery redesign and love to design bespoke commissions . My Story I have spent most of my career caring for others in the Healthcare industry. Those of you who are old enough to remember the 'Winter Of Discontent', the period between November 1978 to Spring 1979, that was the start of my NHS career, and I retired just after just after COVID-19. During my career, I met and worked with some very interesting, and extremely knowledgeable people. When I first moved to London I tried a little jewellery making but shift work soon made it difficult to continue, yes I still have the ring I made back then. Fast forward to 2018, I decided to find my creative self, and I now love to design and create handmade pieces of jewellery, little pieces of joy. My learning started with inspirational tutors in Kent and also in Bedar, Spain. In 2021 I started my Diploma in Fine Jewellery with the London Jewellers Academy where I am delighted to share that I gained a Distinction.
